Sephora Haul!

Quite a while ago now I went to france on holiday and I MADE my dad take me to a Sephora, I have always wanted to go but had never been to america or france (I had been to paris before but had never even heard of Sephora then) so me and my dad set off 40 minutes away in search of one (love you daddy). There was tons of traffic on the way but we got there in the end and it was pretty much heaven.

The reason I wanted to go so bad was for the brands that we can’t get in England but there were less than expected but it was still great, I spent alot of time looking and found the makeup forever stand, there was so much I wanted but it was expensive so I settled for an aqua creme in the shade silver it’s a gorgeous metal colour that is SOOO pigmented, you only need the tiniest bit and it will cover your whole lid!

After that I bought alot from the Sephora brand, Firstly I saw a concealer wheel that I’ve fallen in love with. It’s so great for covering spots as i can use the green colour to reduce the redness of the spots. Also the purple colour is great when I’ve had an awful sleep as I can cover my dark circles. I use this product nearly everyday and I’m so happy I bought it.

This lipstick really caught my eye, I haven’t got a shade even similar to this so I really wanted to get it, I also really like the shape of the lipstick as it’s quite sleek. It’s a really deep reddish plum colour which is really unusual. I think this looks great to spice up my makeup when i’m wearing natural eyes. The shade is called crush and i’ve found that it lasts a pretty long time if I apply it lightly with my finger.

sephoraThe last makeup item I got is a powder illuminator. I’ve wanted one of these for a while and have been eyeing up ‘moonbeam’ in top shop but never actually bought it. This is a pink shimmery colour that can go on the highpoints of your face (cheekbones, brow bone, cupids bow)  I’m not particularly impressed with this as it’s quite a chalky powder so is quite hard to blend into the skin so I have been using it as eyeshadow instead. I don’t think anything would be able to compare to my msf by mac in soft and gentle.

After that I searched for some Bioderma cleanser, I couldn’t find it anywhere and in the end they told us it would be in a pharmacy! Luckily there was one in the shopping centre so we went and i found it straight away, the price was so cheap compared to online. Im just quite bummed that i didn’t buy the 2 pack, this cleanser is the best one iv’e ever tried and leaves my skin feeling so clean and free from oils and residues left on my face. You get alot of product so i think this will last me a long time but even though the price is extortionate I will defo be repurchasing this online if I run out.

So I hope you liked this post and leave me a comment below if you have ever been to Sephora!
