Half face Creepy facepaint!

Today’s blog post is going to be about how I created the look above, which is a Zombie/hulk/joker look- i’m not too sure what to call it but i’ve had some great suggestions on Facebook

FullSizeRender 5For this look I mostly just used Face paints, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to create so I had a quick look on Pinterest and gathered a few inspiration ideas together, with these I created the look!

I was doubting myself quite a lot when creating this look. About half way through it wasn’t looking how I wanted it too. I was about to give up and wipe the whole thing off when I remembered that this was exactly what I was feeling when I created my Grinch look. At this point I had the main ‘face’ part down but there was no definition whatsoever making it look so unrealistic and ‘childish’.

These looks show how important shading is! Adding darker and lighter shades of the same colour make the face pop and give the face defined features!
